RECOGNITION AND AWARDS
The 2002 Mt Toolleen Ebenezer Vineyard Shiraz has won multiple awards since its release and has been described by The Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Chief Executive Sam Tolley, as “a serious benchmark for all Australian wine exports and an astonishing achievement for a newly-formed wine company”.
Other achievements include the following:
- It was most recently awarded the prestigious George Mackey Memorial Trophy for 2004-2005 as Australia’s best export wine.
- It received a Bronze Medal at the 2004 Melbourne Wine Show;
- Rated 96 out of 100 by Wine Spider http://www.winespider.com/
- Awarded the equivalent of a silver medal by Winewise in 2004.
